Use Sheila Shine mainly for cleaning and polishing you brush finished wands.

Brushed finished wands look like fine steel wool was used to create a grain across the metal.

Brushed finish is common with most all the wands made by PMF including all the Prochem tools. Yep, PMF makes the Prochem tools: PC Titanium, PC Quadjet and PC stairtools. These all have that brush finish look as does their 802, 422, 520, 703, HOE, etc.

For brush finished wands…

apply a light spray of Sheila Shine to a rag and just start wiping. Your wand will look like new in no time.  In the worst cases of soils & oils buildups, clean first with a dilute prespray.  For alkaline buildup or corrosion running down the tube, go ahead and rub a worn-out Scotch-Brite pad perpendicular to the length of the tube – gently!  Use a motion like you were throttling a motorcycle handle-grip.  Apply plenty of Sheila Shine for lubrication and use the same motion. Don’t over do it.

For shiny metal wands…

Don’t use Sheila Shine. Since it is an oil-base product, you will just smear these wands.

Instead, use a glass cleaner on a soft rag for all these wands like the AW29, CMP14 or WP14.

Maybe even a chrome wax.  In the worst cases of soils & oils buildups, clean first with a dilute prespray.  For alkaline buildup or corrosion running down the tube down around the jets, use a solution of All Fiber Rinse followed by glass cleaner.  Obviously, you don’t want to use any abrasive pads at all on these wands.
